Terms of Service

How estimates, scheduling and payment work when you hire Rescue 1 Epoxy to coat a concrete floor. Plain language, in the order it comes up.

Last updated: 15 August 2026

Plain english

The short version

The full terms are below. If anything down there contradicts one of these lines, say so, because one of us made a mistake.

  • Estimates are free and you are not on the hook for anything by asking for one.
  • The per-square-foot prices on this site are starting prices. Your number depends on your floor.
  • You get a written estimate before any work starts. That written estimate is the deal — including what you pay and when.
  • Everything is booked directly with Drew Becker by phone or text. There is no online scheduling on this site.
  • We need the space cleared and reachable, and access to power and water, before we arrive.
  • This is Florida and some of this work is weather-dependent. Dates move sometimes, and we will tell you when they do.
  • If something about the finished work does not look right, call Drew directly.

1. Who you're dealing with

Rescue 1 Epoxy is a concrete floor coating company operating out of Milton, Florida and serving Santa Rosa and Escambia County — Pensacola, Milton, Pace, Gulf Breeze, Navarre and Jay. It is owned and run by Drew Becker, a local firefighter and paramedic. The legal entity behind the trade name is [LEGAL ENTITY NAME — from CP-575].

Where these terms say we or us, that is the business. Where they say you, that is the person or company having the work done. Reach us at 607-591-4062 or drew@rescue1epoxy.com. Hours are Monday–Saturday, by appointment.

2. What the service is

We prepare concrete and install floor coating systems on it — garages, patios, shops, warehouses, commercial floors. Four systems:

Which system suits your floor depends on what the space is used for and what condition the slab is in. That conversation happens before you are quoted anything, not after.

3. Estimates are free and non-binding

Estimates cost nothing and commit you to nothing. Asking for one does not obligate you to hire us, and giving you one does not obligate us to take the job.

The per-square-foot figures published on this website are starting prices, not quotes. What you actually pay depends on:

Because of that, a floor can price above its starting figure. Nothing on this website is an offer or a binding price. The only price that binds either of us is the one written in the estimate we give you for your specific job.

4. How quotes and scheduling actually work

Directly with Drew, by phone or text. There is no online booking and no scheduling calendar on this site.

Often we can price a job without coming out: send photos of the space — the whole floor, plus close-ups of any cracks, stains or patched areas — along with rough measurements, and you get a real number over the phone. Where that is not enough, we look at it in person.

Once you accept the written estimate, dates are agreed between you and Drew directly. If you need to move a date, call or text as early as you can and we will do the same for you.

5. Getting the site ready — what we need from you

The single most common reason a job slips is that the space is not ready when we arrive. Before your scheduled date, you are responsible for:

If the space is not ready when we arrive, we may have to reschedule, and rescheduling can push your job behind other work already booked.

6. Weather and scheduling changes

This is Northwest Florida. Rain, humidity and temperature all affect how coatings go down and how they set, and outdoor and open-air work — patios, driveways, carports, open shop bays — is weather-dependent.

We may move a date because of weather or conditions on site. We will tell you as soon as we know and give you the next workable date. A weather delay is not a breach of these terms by either of us, and we are not responsible for costs you take on because a date moved. If a delay does not work for you, say so and we will sort out where to go from there.

7. Payment

Payment terms — what is due, when it is due, and how you can pay — are confirmed in the written estimate for your job before any work begins. Do not rely on anything on this page for a payment schedule; rely on your estimate.

If the work turns out to need something beyond what the estimate covers — concrete repair nobody could see until the grinding started, for instance — we stop and tell you what it involves and what it costs. You decide whether to go ahead. We do not add work to your job and hand you a bill for it afterwards.

8. Workmanship

If something about the finished work does not look right to you, call or text Drew Becker directly at 607-591-4062, or email drew@rescue1epoxy.com, and tell him what you are seeing. He handles workmanship questions himself. There is no call centre to route it through and no claim form to find. Tell him early rather than late — it is easier to sort out a problem while we are still working nearby.

Any coverage terms that apply to your specific job will be set out in the written estimate for that job. Nothing on this page creates any, and you should not read into this page a promise that is not written into your estimate.

9. Limits on liability

We do the work carefully. That said, and to the extent Florida law allows it: our liability arising out of a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses — lost income, lost use of the space, or costs you took on around a scheduled date.

Concrete is an existing structure and not everything about it is visible before work starts. Conditions already present in your slab — moisture coming up through it, existing cracks, prior repairs, previous coatings, settlement — are not something we created, and we are not liable for how they behave. Where we find something like that, we will tell you what we have found before we go any further.

Nothing in this section limits anything that Florida law says cannot be limited.

10. Photos of completed work

We may photograph completed work and use those photos to show what we do — on this website, in estimates, and on social media. The photos are of the floor, not of you: we do not publish your name, your address, or anything identifying about your property.

You can say no. Tell Drew before or after the job and we will not photograph it, or we will take down photos already posted. There is nothing to fill in and no reason to give.

11. Text messages

If you give us your mobile number and agree to it, we may text you about your estimate, your dates and your job. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase or of any service, message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time and HELP for help. The full program disclosure is on the SMS Terms page, and what we collect is on the Privacy Policy page.

12. Governing law

These terms, and any job we do for you, are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute goes to the Florida courts.

Before it ever gets that far, call. Most of what turns into a dispute starts as a phone call nobody returned.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update this page from time to time. When we do, the "last updated" date at the top changes with it. The terms that apply to your job are the ones in effect when you accepted your written estimate.

14. Contact

Questions about anything on this page, or about a job: call or text 607-591-4062, or email drew@rescue1epoxy.com. Rescue 1 Epoxy operates from Milton, Florida and serves Santa Rosa and Escambia County. Hours are Monday–Saturday, by appointment.

Estimates are free and cost you nothing but a phone call.

Send a few photos and rough measurements and we can usually give you a real number over the phone. No visit required, no obligation either way.
