Concrete floors
that actually last.

Garage floors, pool decks and patios across Northwest Florida. We grind, repair and moisture-test first — that's the part that decides whether a floor lasts.

The part nobody sees

Coating is the easy part.

Anyone can roll product onto concrete. It'll look great for a season, then lift at the edges, bubble where moisture came up through the slab, and peel where a tire turns.

That's not a coating problem. That's a preparation problem.

  • Mechanical grinding The surface is opened up so the coating bonds into the concrete instead of sitting on top of it.
  • Crack and defect repair Filled and made sound before anything is applied.
  • Moisture testing Florida slabs push moisture upward. Testing first tells us which system will actually hold.
  • Full surface preparation Edge to edge, not just the middle.

Our systems

Four systems. One standard of prep.

Every floor is different — square footage, condition, how much preparation it needs. But you shouldn't have to book a sales visit to find out roughly what something costs.

Who you're hiring

Firefighter-owned. Not a franchise.

I'm Drew Becker — a local firefighter/paramedic, husband and father. My faith, my family and serving this community are what matter most to me, and I built this business to run the same way.

When you call, you get me. When I say I'll be there, I'm there.

I started this because I kept seeing floors done fast and done badly — coatings put over concrete that was never properly prepared, failing inside a couple of years.

Questions

Straight answers.

How much does a garage floor cost?

It depends on square footage, the condition of the slab, and which system you pick — but our systems start at $4/sq ft for grind & seal and $7/sq ft for a chip flake floor. A typical two-car garage is around 400–500 sq ft. Call or text and we'll get you a real number, free.

Can you give me a price over the phone?

Usually, yes. Send photos and rough measurements and we can often quote without scheduling anything.

How long does the job take?

Most standard residential garages can be completed in 1–2 days, depending on the condition of the concrete, the repairs it needs and the system you choose. You'll know which it is before we start, not after.

When can I walk on it? When can I park on it?

Typically light foot traffic after 12 hours, and vehicle traffic after approximately 24 hours. Cure times can vary depending on the flooring system, the temperature and the conditions on the day — you'll get the real numbers for your floor before we leave.

My concrete is cracked. Is it too far gone?

Usually not. Crack repair and surface preparation are part of what we do — cracks get filled and made sound before any coating goes down. If a slab genuinely isn't a good candidate, we'll tell you that instead of taking the job.

Do you do outdoor concrete in Florida heat and humidity?

Yes — pool decks, patios, porches and driveways. Outdoor surfaces are exactly why we moisture-test first, and why quartz systems exist: they add texture, so a wet pool deck isn't slick.

Do you work with businesses?

Yes. Commercial floors, shops and workspaces — residential and commercial both.

Are you insured?

Yes — Rescue 1 Epoxy is fully insured, and Drew is a certified installer through XPS Express.

Do you offer a warranty?

Yes. Interior flooring systems carry a 15-year warranty against delamination and hot-tire pickup. Exterior flooring systems carry a 5-year warranty.

What it doesn't cover: existing concrete cracks or slab movement, scratches, discoloration, abuse, or normal wear and deterioration of the topcoat. The written estimate for your job sets all of that out before you agree to anything.

Do you take a deposit, and how do you take payment?

A 50% deposit books your date, and the remaining 50% is due on completion. We take check, card, and electronic or bank payment.
